An experienced carpenter can build your loft conversion

A carpenter (see Wikipedia) is one of the oldest professions, they build wooden structures and I am very proud to be one. Carpentry also involves engineering as well as problem solving. There are different aspects:

A 1st fix carpenter builds the structure of a house, extension or roof.

A 2nd fix carpenter finishes of a project, hanging doors, fits skirtings, architrave and staircases.

Standard of his work was excellent… 5 star review for Jackson Loft Conversion, Brighton

5 star review for Richard Jackson, Jackson Loft Conversion, Brighton

“Complicated job which involved lowering our existing ceilings”

“Communications, was very professional in his approach” says Peter

“Rich worked with us over summer 2018 on our loft conversion, a complicated job which involved lowering our existing ceilings. His ideas and input at the start were invaluable in getting the project off the ground, when we were unsure as to whether or not it would be possible. Once work commenced, Rich was very responsive in terms of communications, was very professional in his approach, and the standard of his work was excellent throughout. We would have no hesitation in recommending him!”

Yes roof windows get old and will need replacing!

When they start to leak, they course annoyance and eventually damage to other parts of the property.

If the Velux needs replacing I can do this in a few hours and when it is convenient to you or your tenants.

A damp roof may also be something simple like a cracked or slipped tile.

Velux windows come with a 10 year guarantee. This is what they to say, click here.

A gallery landing creates light, space and air movement in this 1960s bungalow

This gallery landing only required a small Velux window to create more light. These are oak spinals and hand rails with pine newel.
