You can check yourself by measuring the floor of your loft to the apex of your roof and this measurement is more than 7ft 6″ (2.3 metres, 90″ or 230cms) then you have a good chance of gaining the extra space you require. I am always asked this question and of course it varies on the size of your house. If it were an average, 3 bedroom terraced house, a dormer loft conversion including a master bedroom and with an en-suite bathroom, this would take between 6 to 8 weeks.
A Velux or eves loft conversion in an average 3 bedroom terraced house with a master bedroom and an en-suite bathroom would take between 5 to 6 weeks.
